A Rallying Cry from KIA
I was having a couple of beers with e18 and a few other mates, before the QPR game, when we poppoed into the Stanley on the way to the ground. Whilst fighting our way to the bar, who should stagger into view? - none other than KIA. It took him a while to firstly focus, then to begin trying to talk, but eventually, after we wiped his face down (and ours) with an old beer mat, and steadied him by holding his shoulders, it became clear that he was intent on passing on a message to his old "mates" on WHO.

Trust me, it was a struggle to make sense of the ramblings at first, as I'm sure many will identify having known him on here, but surprisingly, conversing with him on this occassion was actually, and eventually, a complete pleasure.

His demeanour was overwhelmingly apologetic. He wanted to stress that his online persona was nothing like he is in real life and he actually said that in the real world, and given the recent developments at West Ham, he could even see him and Nicey being firm buddies. He held his hands up and appreciated that he was wrong to dismiss the West Ham way and said he couldn't stress enough how embarrassed he was for supporting Allardyce during the dark days of the past few years. He actually went further and wanted me to pass on his thanks to those who stood firm and refused to accept the shit being served up in recent seasons. He mentioned a few names - Nicey, Northern Sold, OneMac of late, Polite, and of course myself.

At this point he passed out, pissed himself but then came to again. When he did, he looked me in the eye, as best he could, and wagged a wobbly finger at me. He looked angry and vicious for a split second and I thought we were going to be back to square one with his old cantankarous WHO attitude. But he then seemed to pull himself together again, raised his hands in mock submission and said " I was wrong, I acted like a cunt, and I'm sorry - tell everyone I miss them".

At this point he raised both arms and belted out "Bubbles" at the top of his squeaky voice. The entire pub joined in. I just thought to myself - what a character - WHO is a poorer place without this man.

KIA - you should come back. Let's use this thread as a guage of opinion as to whether that should be the case. Before making a judgement, please believe me - he knows he was wrong, and he has promised that he is changed

You should have spat in his face!

He is a nice bloke in real life - could be a condescending tool on here, but if we were all judged by our online personas who of us could stand?

Not sure if I like this or find it creepy.

Peroni, you are liked, no need to piggy back on others' reputations.

No Penners - not at the time mate. I made a point of seeing whether you were there and you definitely (probably) weren't. That said, it's been a while and things get hazy.
